With over 180 feverish gigs since their last release “Street Worms”, multiple Grammy nominations, an Impala Award for “European Independent Album Of the Year” and a spot at Coachella Festival 2020, favourites Viagra Boys have today shared their new EP “Common Sense” with us. In conjunction with this, we can also announce the band will be heading out on tour with three stops in Sweden in the spring of 2022..

If “Street Worms” was the dodgy neighbour who won’t stop messing and swearing loudly all night, then “Common Sense” is that sneaky new roommate that seemed clearly tidy in the Blocket ad – but beneath the well-groomed surface lurks an unpredictable demon that oscillates wildly between night-black anxiety and uncontrollable ecstasy, exuding obscene vocal rigour and unspeakable pleasures.

“Common Sense” is four unclassified songs that shift between post-punk, convulsive rhythms and guilt-ridden vocals; a tribute to sobering up and then falling back into it, to loving unconditionally, to inevitably losing and to finally coming to terms with a life so utterly ridiculous that the only thing to do is give in to all this madness – before it’s too late.
