In the Trionfale district, close to the Vatican, Romanè serves traditional Roman cuisine in a lively and informal setting. Carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe and other Roman classics feature prominently on the menu. We chose it because, rather than staying in the restaurants around the most touristy sights, it offers a chance to visit a real Roman neighbourhood and enjoy traditional food in a more local atmosphere.
