We Run Rome returns on December 31, 2026, for its 15th edition, turning the final day of the year into a major sporting celebration. The event features a competitive 10 km race and non-competitive 10 km and 5 km routes, passing some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, including Piazza Venezia, the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese and the Colosseum. It welcomes both experienced athletes and anyone looking to end the year with a memorable run through the heart of Rome.
PROGRAMME
December 31, 2026
10:00 AM: opening of the We Run Rome village at the Terme di Caracalla Stadium, featuring partner stands and food trucks.
12:00 PM: group warm-up inside the stadium.
2:00 PM: start of the competitive and non-competitive 10 km races.
Afterwards: start of the non-competitive 5 km Friendship Run.
The route passes the Circus Maximus, Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese, Via Veneto, the Quirinal Palace, the Imperial Forums and the Colosseum.
