With its wide lawns, tree-lined paths, fountains and monumental views, Villa Doria Pamphilj is Rome’s largest historic park. The grounds surround the Casino of Villa Doria Pamphilj and stretch across a vast area west of the historic centre, with plenty of paths for walking, running or simply relaxing. We chose it because it offers an escape from the crowds and noise of central Rome without giving up history and architecture.
