Between former factories, warehouses and industrial buildings, Ostiense has become one of Rome’s most interesting street-art districts. Large murals turn building façades into open-air artworks, creating a striking contrast with the city’s ancient monuments. We chose it to showcase a more contemporary and creative side of Rome, away from the traditional tourist routes.
