🌠 Stargazing during the San Lorenzo Night

Celebrate the magic of the Night of San Lorenzo at the Rome Planetarium, where the entire month of August is dedicated to astronomy and the wonders of the universe. Beneath the Planetarium’s spectacular digital dome, visitors can explore constellations, planets, galaxies and meteor showers through immersive shows suitable for all ages. Around 10 August, when the famous Perseid meteor shower reaches its peak, you will be mesmerized by what this place has to offer on such a special occasion.

📅 Dates: 4–30 August 2026

🕘 Show Times: Daily performances are generally scheduled at 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM (depending on the day and the programme).

📍 Location: Rome Planetarium, Piazza Giovanni Agnelli 10, EUR District, Rome.

🎟️ Admission: Ticket required. Prices vary depending on the performance, and advance online booking is highly recommended.

An English-language show taking visitors on an extraordinary journey from our home planet to the edge of the observable universe.

One of the Planetarium’s most popular productions, designed to help visitors recognise constellations and better understand the night sky.

The programme also includes children’s favourites such as Dr. Stellarium Discovers the Moon, A Dance Among the Planets, Life as a Star with Dr. Stellarium, and What Happens Among the Stars, making astronomy fun and accessible for younger visitors.
