Appeal to all cinephiles! Did you know that Rome is officially dubbed the “City of Cinema, recognized by UNESCO in 2015? This means that there is no shortage of events centered around movies and films, just like the Rome International Film Festival (now in its 19th year!).
The red carpet is rolled out at the Auditorium Parco della Musica and the days are dedicated to local, global and independent screenings, exhibitions, meetings, lectures and much more! Various theaters offer different genres, such as feature films, international or European premieres and world premieres of Italian cinema. The Alice in the City section is dedicated to children’s films.
