Summer weekends on the coast with Gli Ambulanti di Forte dei Marmi! The stalls of Italy’s most famous quality market will also be at LIDO DI OSTIA and on the LADISPOLI coastline with all the best of handmade Italian products and the latest fashion trends. The now legendary “open-air boutiques” of the original Consortium are expected on Sunday 24 July at the LIDO DI OSTIA in Piazza Sirio, while the day before, Saturday 23 July, they will be at the MARINA DI SAN NICOLA, in LADISPOLI, in Via Tre Pesci. So, two appointments not to be missed for the many enthusiasts of the genre, as always under the banner of the most glamorous and convenient shopping, with continuous opening hours, even in the event of bad weather, from 8 am to 7 pm.
It will be, as usual, an authentic spectacle of stalls, colours and the public, which will bring back to life the magical atmosphere of the Mercato del Forte, synonymous with genuineness and guaranteed artisan quality. On the large stalls you can find the best of the Tuscan and Italian tradition of quality craftsmanship: clothing, with new designer and stock collections, leather goods of the highest craftsmanship (bags and shoes), the best national production of cashmere, furs, fine fabrics, household linen, porcelain, bijoux, and refined Florentine art fabrics. Quality is always rigorously declined also with maximum convenience. Banned by statute from imitations and poor quality ‘chinoiseries’, it is on the counters of ‘Gli Ambulanti di Forte di Marmi’ that one finds the latest fashion trends, often also taken up by many fashion blogs and women’s magazines.
It is no coincidence that the Consortium (custodian of the unique, original and registered trademark ‘Gli Ambulanti di Forte dei Marmi’), first established in 2002 from the union of some of the best stalls present in the historic and famous (in the world) Forte dei Marmi market, with the aim of making its show itinerant in national squares, has since been the subject of several attempts at imitation.
