Come with us to visit the places described in the book Angels and Demons. In the wake of the success of Dan Brown’s thriller, the proposed itinerary focuses on visiting the real places mentioned in the best-seller, by the American writer about the path of the Illuminati. These are the so-called ” four altars of science ”, which were to lead the followers of the sect – who were required to decipher a complex symbolism – to the ‘church of illumination’, that is, Castel Sant’Angelo. It is a journey through the places of monumental Rome in which we will review parts of the novel’s script, comparing reality and the exceptional imagination of the famous writer. The visit will be characterized by the descent into the basement of Piazza Navona, to visit the ancient remains of the stadium of Domitian, a structure dedicated to athletics competitions in ancient Rome.
