Wonders in the Botanical Garden, the most beautiful botanical garden in Rome with a large area of up to 12 hectares, has blossomed again, creating a peaceful and charming place in the city centre, a paradise for everyone. The Botanical Garden has prepared for you a tour in the living museum of the beautiful garden, in one of the most beautiful parks in Rome. In this botanical garden, you will find a huge number of different species of plants, from the most primitive, through beautiful flower plants, to the most interesting or exceptional plant species. In the enchanting atmosphere of Palazzo Riario-Corsini and its garden, there are more than 3000 species of plants, including the different palm trees, exceptional bamboo forests, very old but always beautiful Gingko-Biloba trees, but also redwood trees, or very rare and the fascinating Japanese Garden.
Each month is characterized by a typical flower that blooms during this period. June also includes one of the many exceptional flowers, the beautiful orchid Bletilla striata which with its colours and shape attracts tourists from different parts of the world. In addition to this, in June we can also see the beautiful Aristolochia gigantea, originally from Brazil, with flowers that reach a size of up to 35 cm. We will not miss Combretum Indicum with flowers that can change its colour. In addition, this month also includes the beautiful red flowers of Euphorbia or Passiflora and the white flowers of the beautiful Myrtle.
