Flea market in Rome at Porta Portese. At the flea market Porta Portese you can find everything you can imagine. Vendors offer antiques, second – hand clothing, vintage vinyl. However, you can also find brass objects, clocks and old paintings capturing images from times long past. This market is the oldest and largest in Rome. The market takes place every Sunday at Porta Portese and is popular not only with locals but also with tourists. Be prepared for the noisy Italian market, where customers argue with vendors at a bargain price. However, beware of pickpockets.
If you are a lover of antiques, you should not miss a visit to this market. Keep in mind, however, that strict hygienic measures still apply.
