1. Great Dragon Parade

Krakow is a city particularly strongly associated with the symbol of the dragon and that’s why it hosts one of the most spectacular annual events in honor of the Dragon’s Legend – The Great Dragon Parade. On the evening of Saturday, 3rd June you will see a fantastic and unique outdoor spectacle with multimedia, pyrotechnics, fireworks, lasers and exciting music! The biggest attraction will be huge flying dragons, animated on barges and ships by actors of the grotesque theater. The traditional Dragon Parade begins on Sunday, 4th of June. More than 30 Dragons will pass through Grodzka Street to the main square. Some of them will fight on stage for the title of the most beautiful. As in previous years, this year’s show will have a pro-ecological formula. This event is an unforgettable experience both for children and adults!

2. Theatre Night 2023

On June 17, the 16th edition of the Theatre night will take place. Following the example of previous years, the performances will take place both in the halls of Krakow’s theaters and outdoors: in Krakow’s squares and courtyards. During the event, you’ll enjoy the most interesting theatrical performances of the season, meetings with actors and people of the theater, visits to the nooks and crannies that are not available for theater audiences every day and check out multimedia presentations. Admission to the events is free, but for most performances you should pick up a special admission invitation from the theatre.

3. KIERMASH Fair

KIERMASH Fair | Summer at Hali + NAJEDZENI FEST + KOGEL MOGEL Fair. On the weekend of 3-4 of June, three local festivals will welcome you in the Cracovia Hall. 5. Beerweek Festival

In accordance with the annual tradition, we invite you to a real feast of good beer in Krakow – the eighth edition of the largest beer festival in this part of Poland – Beerweek Festival. This time we meet in mid-June, as is tradition at the Cracovia Stadium. Once again, we invite leading craft breweries from all over Poland, representatives of Małopolska Kraft, as well as debutantes and slightly larger players to our city to present you a wide range of flavors and aromas of beers produced on the Vistula River.

6. Jewish Culture Festival

Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow is the largest presentation of contemporary culture created by the Jews in Israel and the entire Diaspora. It presents the diversity and beauty of the Jewish culture from all around the globe.This year’s edition of the festival will take place between 28 June and 2 July, and as in previous years, its theme will be dedicated to one of the four elements in the Jewish tradition: this year, completing the theme, will be the element of air. You’ll be able to take part in different workshops, lectures, discussions and various musical events, from live concerts to nightly jam sessions.

7. The Lajkonik Parade 2023

The Lajkonik Parade is one of the oldest, most colorful and most beautiful traditions in Krakow, which has attracted crowds of spectators for several centuries. While riding around the Old Town, Lajkonik touches everybody with a golden mace which brings happiness and luck. The Lajkonik Parade happens on the first Thursday after the Corpus Christi feast. It starts in the Zwierzyniec district and follows the traditional route to the Main Square. It is worth seeing the difficult dance with the banner, which is performed by Lajkonik three times during the procession.

8.  International Festival Summer Organ Concerts 2023

The event traditionally intertwines the beauty of music and architecture: lovers of sacred music will be able to listen to the most beautiful Krakow organs located in the magnificent interiors of historic churches. Admission to all concerts is free.

9. Malopolska Festival 2023

On the occasion of the Małopolska holiday, a truly spectacular and energizing outdoor event will be held at the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow! The program includes a sports field game, gastronomy area with delicious food, sports shows, educational activities, competitions, a children’s play area and much more. The culmination of the whole event will be a concert by Sylwia Grzeszczak. On this day, a visit to the Polish Aviation Museum and admission to the outdoor event is free of charge.

AreNa Leto Festival is a unique outdoor event featuring interesting artists!

On Saturday, June 17, Lor, KIWI, Sarapata, Runforrest and Borys Kunkie will play for you on the outdoor stage at the Arena Garden. Throughout the festival, guests also will be able to enjoy the gastronomic zone with delicious food and amazing atmosphere. Free admission!
