Currently, the festival is the largest Polish jazz festival and one of the largest in Europe.This festival is definitely a must-attend event for jazz lovers and for all those who appreciate good music in a beautiful environment. Apart from the Polish element of excellence, many foreign jazzmen also appear on the stages.

This year’s edition will be led by the slogan „THE JOY of a backyard regained”. The theatre will come out to the audience, with the theatrical company mingling through the streets of the city and performing within the overlooked or forgotten backyards of districts, even those remote ones. During the festival, Kraków’s streets and squares will be filled with breathtaking outdoor performances, concerts, events for children and … premieres! Over 100 theatrical performances will take place during the three festival days. From carefree clowns through sophisticated puppet shows to breathtaking evening fire shows, every age group will find something for themselves. You just can’t miss this!

The court dance festival is an artistic event, the main purpose of which is presentations related to the dance heritage of Kraków, Poland, Europe and even the whole world. This year’s edition of the Festival is titled “Stars, Planets, Cosmos and the Court Dance.” The Festival is inspired by the celebration of the 550th anniversary of Nicolaus Copernicus’ birth and is designed to reflect the principles of his heliocentric theory within the art of dance. Throughout all festival events, Cracovia Danza will be promoting the figure of Nicolaus Copernicus and his great contribution to the science of astronomy. In addition, Cracovia Danza Court Ballet will perform a play Planets Moved by the Dance, which refers to the European visions of the cosmic universe from the times of Nicolaus Copernicus.

Jazz Night is held as a part of the Kraków Nights project. During this special night, various genres of jazz are presented, performed by outstanding artists from around the world. Concerts are held in places selected individually for the nature of musical projects.This year’s 16th edition is traditionally planned at the Mały Rynek, in the courtyard of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow MOCAK, as well as in Dworek Białoprądnicki, Nowa Huta Cultural Center, MDK im. Andrzej Bursa. This year, for three hours (21.00-00.00) we will make the Krakow Philharmonic available to our music lovers. We invite you to the Italian Jazz Night. Jazz will resound in the Big Hall and in the Blue Room. Admission to all concerts, as always, is free.

Summer is in full swing, and with the arrival of holidays your favorite specialty coffee event is coming back to Krakow! In July in the wonderful place Shuvary Park we will meet at the first coffee festival in Krakow in 2023. Organizers want to show you even more of the amazing world of specialty coffee! As always, they are preparing a weekend full of attractions. Both Polish and foreign coffee roasters will prepare something special for you. There will also be sweet treats from local cafes and a chillout zone.

Concerts without unnecessary pomposity surrounded by the beautiful scenery of Renaissance walls and the grounds of a picturesque park: classical recitals as well as non-cliché musical gatherings. Light Summer Concerts by Piano Cooperative at the gorgeous Villa Decius will feature works by Monika Gardoń-Preinl, Grzegorz Mania, Piotr Różański, Justyna Piękoś and others. Admission to all concerts is free.

The most beautiful works of classical and sacred music – including arrangements for choir, solo voices, Renaissance lute, theorbo and violin as well as masterpieces of organ music will be performed for you throughout the summer. All of this in the unique interiors of the historic St. Joseph Church at the Podgórski Square. This year’s edition of Podgórze Summer Concerts will be organized from the 9th of July until the 27th of August every Sunday at 16.00. The entrance for all the concerts is free of charge.

Ethnokraków/Rozstaje is an international festival dedicated to ethnic, traditional and world music; one of the most important of its kind in Poland and Europe. The 25th edition of the festival (1999-2023) features music from different parts of the world performed by bands from the international and Polish ethnic, traditional, and world music scene. You will be able to enjoy twenty unforgettable concerts featuring one hundred artists from three continents at locations throughout our beautiful city. Workshops, outdoor dancing under the stars and opportunities for collective singing with our community all await you!

At this exhibition in the Szołayski House, you will trace the history of Polish design from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries to the present: from graphic design, through fashion, to furniture – a total of 350 exhibits! The exhibition opens with works from the Polish Applied Art Society and Krakow workshops, as well as examples of the Zakopane style. In the part devoted to the second Polish Republic we will find forms of artistic expression in the spirit of modernism and avant-garde. The largest room presents fashion, and a separate room is dedicated to the Polish poster of the 20th century. There will also be features from the time of the Communist Party of Poland, and the whole is crowned by projects from the period after 1989 – from those created for the needs of public space to Polish computer games.
