The Goral Folklore Festival in Ždiar is not only a unique event that introduces you to traditional Goral culture, customs, traditions, and crafts, but also offers an excellent music program.
Gorals, local artists, and folklore groups from three sides of the Tatra Mountains will introduce visitors to their culture, various Goral customs and traditions, history, and crafts, and offer an imaginative program full of familiar faces as well as traditional local Goral artists.

Because two experiences await you in one. At Bachledka, at an elevation of nearly 1,200 meters above sea level, IMT Smile, KALI, Štefan Štec, Miro Jaroš, and FS Zemplín will perform as guests at a spectacular celebration of Goral culture.

The 30th year of the Goral Folklore Festival will be exceptional! In the heart of nature, right next to the Treetop Walk in Bachledka, traditions, music, singing and dancing will come to life under the majestic peaks of the Tatra Mountains.

Friday’s programme at Bachledka will bring a rich mix of music, entertainment, and folklore for visitors of all ages. Lucia Haladejová and Ferko Jaroš will create a welcoming atmosphere with their musical performance, followed by the popular RAMAGU Theatre with a fairy tale for children.
The highlight of Friday’s programme will be a performance by Štefan Štec, who will bring the power of tradition, emotion, and the unique energy of folklore to Bachledka in a modern interpretation.
From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the PANORAMA Restaurant will come alive with authentic Goralian entertainment featuring the Jendrichovský Brothers. Visitors can enjoy an evening of traditional folk music, great company, and the warm Goralian atmosphere—perfect for relaxing, singing, and celebrating with friends and family.

Saturday’s programme at Bachledka will feature major musical acts, family entertainment, and traditional folklore.
The day will begin with performances by Lucia Haladejová and Ferko Jaroš, followed by the much-loved Miro Jaroš, whose lively and energetic show is sure to delight younger visitors.
The Zemplín Folk Ensemble and the Jozef Opatovský Accordion Academy will showcase traditional culture and the spirit of folklore. The evening programme will culminate in concerts by Kali and the band IMT SMILE.
Saturday at Bachledka will offer a unique blend of tradition, contemporary music, and an exceptional atmosphere beneath the High Tatras.

Sunday’s programme will celebrate local artists and folk ensembles.
As is tradition, the day will begin with a Holy Mass, followed by a full day dedicated to Goralian folklore, featuring traditional songs, dances, and the region’s rich history.

The event will also feature a woodcarving symposium, where master woodcarvers will create symbols of Goralian culture from wood. New sculptures will be added alongside the existing 4-metre straw figures of the Goralian man and woman from previous years.
