WHEN ROME GOES DOWN ON THE STREET

18.10.2020

Popular Roman festivals enliven the city. If you are interested in ghosts, myths, rituals, but you are no stranger to history, this is the event for you. With this walk we will evoke the Roman party spirit and joker, reliving together the streets and squares that were the stage for the spectacular sacred and profane rites that marked life throughout the year.

Between horse races, pancakes, fires, licentious ditties and macabre apparitions we will reveal the Roman soul that is divided between religion, superstition and millenary traditions. We want to tell you how the streets were populated to welcome the most fascinating traditions and festivals.

With reference to general safety rules, it will be necessary to respect the distance of 1 meter, wear a mask and be equipped with sanitizing gel.
