Day of Street Krakow

DAY OF STREET 7 – WORKSHOPS & DANCE BATTLE. The seventh edition of “Day of Street” will be held on February 18 and 19 at the Brodnica House of Culture. The event will be divided into dance workshops and battles. We invite all active dancers wishing to experience the incredible adventure of street dance. The event will be devoted exclusively to such styles of Street Dance as Breaking, Hip-Hop, Popping and Locking.

❌ DAY 1 CATEGORIES:
* HIP-HOP 1vs1 – battle, music of the organizer – up to 11 years old, 12 – 15 years old, over 15 years old.

❌ CATEGORIES DAY 2:
* BREAKING 1vs1 – battle, music by organizer – up to 11 years old, 12 – 15 years old, over 15 years old.

* POPPING 1vs1 (OPEN) – circles, battle, music of the organizer. In case of a larger number of applications, there will be a division into three age categories: – under 11 years, 12 – 15 years, over 15 years.

* LOCKING 1vs1 (OPEN) – wheels, battle, music of the organizer.

❌ CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION:
In the category: HIP-HOP, BREAKING, LOCKING, POPPING 1vs1 the condition for participation is to send the application, WITH CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT, to day.of.street@gmail.com, by the IMMEDIATE DEADLINE, by February 6, 2023.

DAY 1:
07:00 | Opening of the Brodnica Cultural Center.
08:00 | Registration of participants,
09:00 – 10:30 | Hip-Hop dance workshops (conducted by: Maksymilian Hać).
11:00 | Competition in the category: Hip-Hop 1vs1
14:00 | Lunch break
14:30 | Continuation of the competition

DAY 2:
07:00 | Opening of the Brodnica House of Culture.
08:00 | Registration of participants,
09:00 – 10:30 | Breaking (led by Bboy Wilczek) and Locking (led by Locking Tai) workshops.
11:00 | Competitions in categories: Breaking 1vs1, Popping 1vs1, Locking 1vs1
14:00 | Lunch break
14:30 | Continuation of the competition

❌ NOTES:
1. give us advance notice if you need a VAT invoice!
2. cancellation of participation in “DAY OF STREET 7 – WORKSHOPS & DANCE BATTLE” must be notified by phone or e-mail, no later than February 13, 2023. The organizer will then provide a refund of 50% of the amount paid. If information about cancellation is received after the deadline, the organizer does not provide a refund.
(3) Each participant performing in the “DAY OF STREET 7 – WORKSHOPS & DANCE BATTLE” is required to carry an identity document (school ID card or other identity document).
(4) Participants come at their own expense or the delegating institution.
(5) Participants shall insure themselves at their own expense or that of the delegating institution.
(6) Any disputes or matters not covered by the rules of “DAY OF STREET 7 – WORKSHOPS & DANCE BATTLE” shall be decided by the organizer.
(7) The organizer reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to the “DAY OF STREET 7 – WORKSHOPS & DANCE BATTLE” program. Decisions of the organizer are irrevocable.
8) During the “DAY OF STREET 7 – WORKSHOPS & DANCE BATTLE” the organizer is not responsible for the belongings of the participants.
9) Each participant at registration is required to sign the RODO declaration.
10) Workshops are an additional option for willing participants. Their cost is 20 PLN/90 minutes. Payment on the spot.

❌ AWARDS:
For finalists in all categories for taking 1st, 2nd, 3rd place – medals, diplomas, material prizes.
