The Gianni Di Venanzo International Film Photography Award is a prestigious film festival that has been held annually in Teramo since 1996, organized by the Teramo Nostra association and named after the memory of cinematographer Gianni Di Venanzo.
This year’s highlight of the festival — namely the grand ceremony of awarding the Golden Exposure Meters — will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 5 p.m., at Teramo’s Municipal Cineteatro. The great actress and Godmother of the Prize, Eleonora Giorgi, the well-known actor and voice actor Francesco Pannofino, and also Pino Ammendola, among others, will take the stage at the Comunale.

– Esposimetro d’oro Photography Italian film: Peter Zeitlinger for L’angelo dei muri (2021), directed by Lorenzo Bianchini;
– Esposimetro d’oro Foreign Film Photography: Eli Arenson for Lamb (2021), directed by Valdimar Jòannson;
– Esposimetro d’oro alla Memoria to Giuseppe Rotunno;
– Esposimetro d’oro alla Carriera to Fabio Zamarion;
– Special Award “Peppe Berardini” Author of Fiction TV Photography to Leo Carbotta;
– “Marco Onorato” Jury Plaque to Paolo Carnera;
– “Marco Pannella” Integration and Solidarity Award to Arif Oryakhail, physician and Public Health expert for Italian Development Cooperation.
