Night of Museums 2022. After two years, the much-loved event, Night of Museums, is finally returning to the capital. On Saturday, May 14, select museums will be open extra special for you to visit. This is an international event that also involves many other European countries.
2022 is the twelfth edition, promoted by Roma Culture, Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali with the organisation of Zètema Progetto Cultura.
Rome is taking part in the initiative by extraordinarily opening the spaces of the Roma Capitale Museum System to the public in the evening, from 8 pm to 2 am (last admission at 1 am). With an entrance fee of 1 euro (unless otherwise indicated) you can attend a rich program of events and live performances selected through the special competition notice “Night of Museums 2022”.
Among the Civic Museums involved are: Musei Capitolini, Centrale Montemartini, Mercati di Traiano – Museo dei Fori Imperiali, Museo dell’Ara Pacis, Museo di Roma, Museo Napoleonico, Museo di Roma in Trastevere, Museo Pietro Canonica a Villa Borghese, Musei di Villa Torlonia (Casina delle Civette, Casino Nobile, Serra Moresca), Museo delle Mura, Museo Carlo Bilotti – Aranciera di Villa Borghese, Museo di Scultura Antica Giovanni Barracco, Museo Civico di Zoologia, Museo della Repubblica Romana e della memoria garibaldina, Galleria d’Arte Moderna, Museo di Casal de’ Pazzi.
