The Selfish Giant

It is the story of a giant who does not want children to play in his garden because he hates his neighbor and would like to keep all good things for himself. He builds a wall behind which is his magnificent garden full of trees and flowers; the children will be forced to play in the street among the cars and smog. Months pass and he sees that the neighbors’ gardens are blooming, spring comes and in his instead there is only cold and winter. So he realizes that only by breaking the wall and letting the children play in his garden would spring finally return. So the giant and the children break the wall together and will play from now on always in the garden….the giant from selfish becomes good.

The show is represented by means of a lively stage setting with engaging colors and music. It will also offer children spectators the opportunity to interact verbally during some scenes of the play.
