SUMMER IN TESTACCIO:
In the area of the former Campo Boario of the City of the Other Economy throughout the summer, so even in the absence of our culinary events, there will always be something that will allow you to spend the day and especially the evening in complete tranquility, at the open area or under the stars, in the company of good food offered by Collettivo Gastronomico Testaccio.

The Collective was born between 2020 and 2021 with the aim of recovering the wonderful catering and exhibition spaces within the area of the Ex Mattatoio di Testaccio, in the heart of Rome. The cuisine it offers is agricultural and rural, based on tradition but without following it slavishly, going to take up forgotten recipes and using unusual raw materials. The dishes will have a strong root in Roman history: therefore not only the use of the fifth quarter but of all those ingredients typical of the peasant and pastoral past of the Roman countryside.

Carefully selected large quantities of natural wines, an open-air cocktail bar and a wide range of tapas for the afternoon and aperitif times. Musical activities, artistic performances and exhibitions will be the outline in which to live throughout 2021. Its goal is to bring Rome and its citizens back to the center of all, recovering, before it’s too late, a place rich in history and tales like the Slaughterhouse in Rome.

The Testaccio Popular Music School will offer free musical performances of different genres and for all tastes, while the local cultural associations will organize fun moments of entertainment and leisure for all ages.
