Discover the beauties and secrets of a beautiful botanical garden! “Era di maggio 2022” is a two-day event dedicated to all Roman families and to all those who wish to enter the Enchanted Garden of Rome, a stone’s throw from Trastevere, and breathe the beauty of nature in bloom. On Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 May, experiential guided tours are scheduled to discover the Botanical Garden, workshops for young and old, musical performances and dining areas.
The spring festival at the Botanical Garden
Five exploratory routes to immerse yourself in nature and be amazed by the great biodiversity that this precious green space offers in the heart of the capital. Visitors can choose to be guided by the skilled hands that take care of the thousands of plant species in the Botanical Garden Museum every day, and know all their secrets. They will show the most suggestive corners. Or you can choose to breathe some beauty by walking freely among the tree-lined avenues.
It might happen to meet Christina of Sweden who wanders between the rose garden and the vineyard to tell stories. Children will be happy to have fun in an open space in complete safety, visit the Butterfly House and everyone will be able to experience the sensory experience in the Living Chapel: a living architectural work in which an incessant flow of water hits shelves regenerated from waste material, producing a sweet melody.
