“Our painful experiences aren’t a liability—they’re a gift. They give us perspective and meaning, an opportunity to find our unique purpose and our strength.” -Edith Eger
A story has the power to build empathy and understanding and make people feel less alone in the world. This is the power of telling your own story.
When we tell our stories and others bear witness, we remember that others are suffering just like us. We know this, and yet so many of us leave our stories untold, our songs unsung—and when this happens, we wind up feeling lonely, listless, or plagued with a chronic sense of disconnection.
On Thursday March 25th, we will be talking about the power of storytelling, and considering what positive actions can help us frame our ever-changing personal story. We invite you to this online event where you can listen and learn, but also engage in dialogue and connect with others in small group settings.
The event is free of charge and will be happening online via Zoom, link to the event will be send privately to each participant one day before the event.
