Radio 1 New Year’s Eve

One of Hungary’s biggest year-end parties is getting ready to take over Óbudai Island, where the new Óbuda Bay event venue will host the Radio 1 New Year’s Eve celebration for the very first time. The organizers are once again bringing some of the most well-known Hungarian DJs to kick off the new year with classic and current Radio 1 hits. Guests will be welcomed with a modern, covered dance floor and a visually striking, high-tech environment.

This year’s lineup is impressive as always: alongside the Disco*s Hit team — DJ Junior, Hamvai PG and Attila Bárány — the stage will feature Lotfi Begi, Purebeat, Cooky, Antonyo, Newik and Pullmaxx. The 1,500 m² dance area is equipped with a brand-new L’Acoustics sound system and a 120 m² LED wall, complemented by more than 150 lighting units. The organizers aim to create a spectacular New Year’s Eve show, both visually and acoustically, to make the last night of the year unforgettable.

The Backstage VIP area offers priority entry, a private bar, exclusive restrooms and a comfortable, separated lounge section with table service. On the day of the event, each ticket includes three hours of free parking in the Várkert Bazár underground garage, subject to available spaces. The event is open to visitors aged 17 and above; by entering, guests automatically accept the house rules.
