Kick off the winter season in the heart of Budapest with three days of ice, music and freestyle action at the City Park Ice Rink.
From January 9 to 11, 2026, Városligeti Műjégpálya turns into a vibrant winter festival hub, where skating, live music, lights and urban snow sports come together. Alongside the Generali Freeze Festival, Rock A Rail brings a street-style ski and snowboard show to the city — complete with a creative rail park, spectacular tricks and a close-up view of the riders. Even if you’ve never stood on skis or a board, the atmosphere pulls you straight into the world of freestyle.
2026 also marks a milestone: the Rock A Rail Snowboard European Cup arrives in Hungary for the first time, making this weekend even more special for fans of winter sports.
Glide across the ice under the evening lights, watch top riders perform jaw-dropping tricks, dance into the night, and warm up with mulled wine or hot tea — all in one unforgettable winter setting.
