For the third time, the MaXXXimum Drum & Bass Daytime Rave will take over the main stage of Budapest Park, giving you the chance to party to some of the best drum & bass around!
Budapest Park and Bladerunnaz are kicking off the autumn season with an incredibly powerful daytime party. On Sunday, September 13, 2026, the very best of the drum & bass scene will take over Budapest Park as part of the MaXXXimum Drum & Bass Daytime Rave. This is more than just a strong line-up: it is a unique cross-section of the history and present of drum & bass, covering almost every major era and style within the genre.
The most highly anticipated act on the main stage is undoubtedly the Camo & Krooked b2b Mefjus set. Together, the Austrian trio currently represents the very top tier of drum & bass when it comes to musical creativity and studio-level precision. Camo & Krooked’s melodic yet highly dynamic and detail-rich sound blends perfectly with Mefjus’ relentless, precision-engineered neurofunk energy, making their joint performance a guarantee of forward-thinking, mind-blowing sounds.
The history of drum & bass will also come alive through an iconic B2B set by Roni Size and Krust. These two living legends are among the key figures who helped shape drum & bass into what it is today. As pioneers of the Full Cycle label, they have been defining the foundations of jungle and Bristol drum & bass since the 1990s. Their performance will be a perfect example of how the legacy of the genre’s golden era can be treated with both respect and explosive energy while still sounding fresh and modern.
For fans of the darker neurofunk sound, the arrival of Virus Trinity will be a true highlight, bringing together Ed Rush, Optical and Audio. Ed Rush and Optical are pioneers of the dark, cold and gritty side of drum & bass – the sound that became known as neurofunk – joined here by their musical successor Audio. This formation will show no mercy, pushing the Park’s sound system to its limits with hard-hitting and uncompromising sonic bombs.
Representing the British new wave and a more modern, laid-back side of the genre are Gray and Selecta J Man with their joint set. Gray’s cheeky, rolling basslines and Selecta J Man’s energetic, contemporary jungle rhythms will make sure the atmosphere never loses momentum, filling the afternoon dancefloor with youthful party energy. Expect plenty of VIP remixes and dubplates throughout their set.
The Hungarian scene will be represented by Shaymi, one of the most reliable names on the local drum & bass scene, who knows exactly how to build the perfect opening set for a Hungarian crowd.
If you’re looking for a unique, energetic and carefree party experience, this is definitely an event worth checking out!
