From August 5 to 16, 2026, Germany’s largest contemporary circus festival turns Tempelhofer Feld into a vibrant cultural hub.
The Berlin Circus Festival takes contemporary circus to a whole new level. Look forward to a fascinating blend of world-class acrobatics, theater, dance, and visual arts.
Across three circus tents and an open-air stage, international performers present spectacular shows, emotional stories, and bold performances. A special highlight of this year’s 12th edition is “Focus Catalonia,” bringing outstanding artists and productions from the Catalan circus scene to Berlin.
The festival opening, “This is (not) a party”, takes place on August 5 at 7:30 PM.
