Haken

The progressive favorites from London are going on tour and in September we will see them at Stora Teatern in Gothenburg and Södra Teatern in Stockholm!

“We’ve been wanting to give the European fans a full-length show for a while now, so we are really excited to be bringing ‘An Evening with Haken’ to the continent in September. We had such a blast with this format in North America earlier this year, and we can’t wait to do it all over again. Haken music all night, including Fauna in full and hours of other music from our discography!”

When it comes to modern progressive rock, Haken is the band on everyone’s lips. Since 2004, the band has taken us by storm, quickly establishing themselves on the international scene with their skillful blend of complex arrangements and catchy melodies. Their discography is a showcase of musical innovation, with each album exploring new soundscapes and themes. This has cemented their position as pioneers of the genre. The highlights are many, but the all-time great ‘Affinity’ is close to our hearts.

When Richard Henshall (guitarist), Matthew Marshall (guitarist) and Ross Jennings (singer) first had the idea for Haken in 2004, they chose to focus on songwriting and instruments first. When they recruited other members three years later, they eventually released the demo “Enter The 5th Dimension” in 2008. Their debut album “Aquarius” was released in 2010 via Sensory Records. Today, Haken has released six studio albums, one EP and two live albums.
