Based on a basic recipe of heavy monster riffs, malignant grooves and well-chosen elements from psychedelic acid rock, punk and blues, Fu Manchu can be said to be one of the foundations of the so-called Palm Desert scene, where the sun-drenched and fuzz-effect-soaked desert rock found its perfect form.
Singer and guitarist Scott Hill has been the only constant since the band’s inception thirty years ago, and in recent years the band has released three acclaimed EPs.
Now we can announce that Fu Manchu will return to Sweden for two shows already this summer – June 17 at Slaktkyrkan in Stockholm and June 19 at Plan B in Malmö.
