XIII KRAKOW THEATRICAL MINIATURES
In two months, actors from all over Poland will visit our city, presenting stagings unknown to Cracovians. The festival, awaited by all theatergoers, will begin on July 17 and last until July 23, 2023. The 13th edition of the Krakow Miniature Theater Festival is organized, as every year, by the Krakow Cultural Forum, which is just celebrating forty-five years of activity. The festival will also be an excellent opportunity for tourists visiting the Malopolska capital in large numbers during the summer vacations to get acquainted with the diverse repertoire of domestic theaters.
The guests of the 13th KMT will be theaters from Warsaw: Kamienica, Polonia and Garnizon Sztuki, as well as the Kujawsko-Pomorski Musical Theater in Toruń and Ave Theater from Rzeszow.
In turn, the presented performances will provide the audience with joy, emotion and reflection in appropriately balanced proportions. Krakow theater lovers can look forward to an intriguingly multidimensional Czech comedy with Marcin Perchuc, a hilarious criminal musical, a subtly intelligent marital story with a wink, and an exciting duel between fascinating personalities Julia Wieniawa and Adam Woronowicz. For lovers of the noble art of monodrama, the organizers especially recommend “The Life of Mrs. Pomsel,” performed by Anna Seniuk, based on the diaries of Goebbels’ secretary adapted by Christopher Hampton, who won an Oscar for his screenplay for “Dangerous Liaisons.”
See you in the audience!
