This April, the ELTE Botanical Garden’s highly successful Sakura Festival returns, inspired by the Japanese Ohanami. At the event, similar to the traditional Japanese celebration, visitors can picnic on a blanket in the garden and enjoy the gorgeous cherry blossoms. The weekend’s activities will offer many ways for everyone to get to know the culture, including a variety of cultural activities, language classes, concerts, martial arts and weapons demonstrations, and workshops.
“Go” education, concerts, manga demonstrations and a meeting of this subculture, there will also be ikebana performances and workshops. The best entries of the haiku competition will also be read in the garden.
The detailed program will be available soon on the ELTE Botanical Garden’s website.
