Children’s play “Practically Perfect” The true story of Mary Poppins. On Sunday, Nov. 6, 2022, at 11:15 a.m., the children’s play “Practically Perfect” will be staged at Teatro Tirso de Molina, Via Tirso 89 – Corso Trieste area.
Who among us has never whistled “Just a little sugar” or even said “Supercalifragilistichespiralidoso” at least once in our lives?
Mary Poppins, the nanny we’ve all dreamed of having, flies back to the stage to cheer young and old alike. She who with just the snap of her fingers puts everything in order and makes us jump into a drawing to experience the most bizarre and merry adventures.
Then the magic of Walt Disney gave us a film adaptation that after more than 50 years still does not lose its charm.
The company “GattaNera Teatro” decided to try its hand at the most classic classic there is, starting from the books of P.L.Travers and winking at the famous film.
Thus are told the adventures that the world’s most famous “Nanny” makes little Jane and Michael Banks live, she, who arrives with the wind to make their family regain the harmony that seems to have been lost … and that will remain until the wind changes.
Between songs, dances, changing scenes, chimney sweeps and invented words we will experience a timeless story where the real protagonist is family value and where everything will be as perfect as its protagonist…a “Practically Perfect” Nanny.
