Board Games Festival

In 2025, Hungary’s largest and most colorful board game event, the Társasjátékok Ünnepe® (Celebration of Board Games) and Board Game Fair, returns for its 13th edition. This year, the two-day festival steps up to a new level: with a new venue — the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna — offering more space, more games, more exhibitors, and more fun than ever before, on November 8–9.

The Celebration of Board Games is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for visitors to freely try out hundreds of games, from beloved classics to the latest releases. The event brings together the best Hungarian publishers and distributors, ensuring everyone finds the right game for their taste — whether a seasoned gamer or a newcomer rediscovering the joy of tabletop play.

The program features tournaments, demonstrations, signings, and plenty of opportunities to shop for games at discounted prices. The event is family-friendly: admission is free for children, and discounted family and student tickets are also available. A limited-edition VIP pass, which included early access and a special gift package, has already sold out for this year.

Among the event’s main sponsors are some of the most recognized brands in the industry, including Delta Vision, Gémklub, Piatnik, Reflexshop, REGIO JÁTÉK, and Zoch/Noris.
The organizers’ goal is to share the joy of playing together, the thrill of discovery, and the sense of community that connects generations through board games.
