Margo Literary Festival

Literature, music, and contemporary culture come together at the Spring Margó Literary Festival and Book Fair, held at the unique Kristály venue on Margaret Island. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the festival offers three days of inspiring programs.

The event features leading figures of Hungarian literature alongside emerging voices. Highlights include a special evening dedicated to László Krasznahorkai and Béla Tarr, as well as a musical-literary tribute to Géza Bereményi.

The closing day brings together poetry, slam, and hip-hop in a unique cross-genre celebration featuring artists from multiple generations.
