This is a highly informative exhibition that makes the combination of science and art its crowning achievement. Starting from Saturday, October 30, the historic Botanical Garden Museum will be transformed into a real prehistoric garden: palms, aquatic plants, bamboos and ferns will once again be inhabited by the ancient rulers.
Created by an all-Italian team with the advice of professional palaeontologists at all stages, the exhibition, through the emotional impact of a spectacular setting, conveys up-to-date information on the continuous progress of research in the field. The culture-entertainment formula adopted aims to involve the public and bring it closer to the environment of the experts, highlighting the contribution of scientists and artists to the fascinating work of reconstructing the History of Life from the study of fossil evidence.
The reconstructions of the animals are all rigorously life-size and reproduced in the appearance they must have had in life: through the two formats, the exhibition also proposes other themed content, relating both to the foundations of palaeontology, the most famous research, but also the discoveries made in Italy.
