With their lazy, indifferent and meaningless way of thinking and acting, the Ťapák family show us that not much has actually changed in over a hundred years.

Although our society is technologically advancing by leaps and bounds, our view of the world, our approach to solving vital problems and our patterns of human behavior remain largely the same.
