Place des Vosges is one of the most elegant squares in Paris, with its red-brick and stone façades, symmetrical arcades and central garden. Under one of the arcades is Victor Hugo’s House, the former apartment where the famous writer lived for several years. The museum displays objects, furniture, drawings and personal items connected to his life and work.
