Újpest Advent Fair

Újpest’s Advent Fair returns this year from 29 November to 23 December, transforming Szent István Square into a warm, festive meeting place once again. With the scent of mulled wine, the sweetness of chimney cake and the familiar sound of Christmas melodies, the square becomes the heart of the season — a place to gather, celebrate and slow down together.

🎁 GIFT FACTORY
Between 1–16 December, the Újpest Advent Gift Factory collects shoebox donations for children in need.
There is also a Pet Christmas Igloo where visitors can donate food and supplies for pets from struggling households.

Drop-off points:
Weekdays:
• 9:00–14:00 – Guard booth next to the igloo + Youth Center reception
• 15:00–19:00 – Igloo

Weekends:
• 9:00–14:00 and 15:00–19:00 – Igloo

Please label shoebox gifts with the recommended age and whether it’s for a boy or girl.

🎞️ CHRISTMAS SLIDE SHOW
Every weekend in December at 17:30, classic slide-show tales return to the Advent Fair, bringing nostalgic illustrations and festive magic for children and adults alike.
Dates: December 6–7, 13–14, 20–21

🎈 RED NOSE CLOWN DOCTORS
The Red Nose Clown Doctors — who have been bringing joy to children in hospitals for 28 years — will be present on three occasions to collect donations. Digital donations will also be available.

Thank you for helping them bring even more laughter where it’s most needed. 🎈
