Garden Cinema at Budapest Garden

The outdoor cinema season officially starts on May 22 at Budapest Garden with a relaxed open-air movie night near the Danube.

This isn’t a traditional cinema experience. Think bean bags, summer evening atmosphere, street food and a movie under the stars.

Open-air movie vibes

The screening starts after sunset, giving visitors time to settle in, grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere before the film begins. Arriving early is recommended if you want one of the better spots.

Movies are shown on a large outdoor screen with full sound setup, creating a proper cinema feeling in an open-air setting.

Food and drinks

Alongside the usual popcorn and nachos, the Garden’s food court will also offer burgers, pizza and various street food options. Drinks, cocktails and spritzers will be available from the Fröccs Bar and Beach Bar throughout the evening.

Free entry

Entry to the screening is free, but seating works on a first-come, first-served basis and participation requires on-site consumption.
