French Film Week

From November 19 to 25, 2026, a festival organized by the Institut français d’Allemagne and Unifrance will bring contemporary French and Francophone cinema to Germany.

This year marks the 26th edition of the French Film Week. More than 30 films will be screened across Berlin and 27 other cities and 36 cinemas.

Audiences can look forward to a wide spectrum of genres, historical subjects, and current social themes. The high quality of the selection is particularly notable: 15 of the featured films were previously part of the official selection at the Cannes Film Festival.

Selected highlights from the program:

Another Day (Directed by Jeanne Herry; starring Adèle Exarchopoulos and Sara Giraudeau)
De Gaulle – Time of Resistance
The Marie-Claire Affair (L’Affaire Marie-Claire)
