Since March of 2017, Budapest has a huge Eye too and it operates throughout the year. If you take a ride on the Eye, which is located in the heart of the city, the view will amaze your whole family. With its 65m height, it is the largest Ferris-wheel in Europe, so it should be on your itinerary – no doubt.

This ride will take you up to one of the most beautiful hills of Hungary – to Normafa. It takes 15 minutes to get there and the view is beautiful all year around. If you buy a Budapest card, you can use it in both ways free of charge.
One of the most romantic castles in Hungary is located in the city park of Budapest – next to the Hero’s square. The Vajdahunyad Castle was built in 1896 and its fairy-tale style showcases the architectural evolution of centuries in Hungary. There is a lake connected to the castle, which operates as a boating lake during summer and as an ice-skating rink during wintertime. The castle is home to several festivals, but you can enjoy concerts and exhibitions here too.
They say: “Welcome to the shark-zoo”. It is a real wow for not just kids, but for the adults too. You can watch hundreds of colorful water fishes, little monkeys, alligators and you can even play with rays. can The main attraction is truly breathtaking; sharks swimming around in the 1,4 million liter aquarium.
It is the biggest park and island of Budapest, bounded by the two bridges – Margaret and Árpád. It is the green gem of the city where you can play with the kids in beautiful nature, have a picnic, enjoy the musical fountain, visit the small zoo for free of charge or visit the water park and the swimming pools.
You can find the Budapest Zoo in the centre of the city, located next to the City Park and Vajdahunyad castle. They have all the cute, funny, huge, interesting, special and amazing animals to visit in their park, from all over the world, above and under the ground. With kids, it is a must-see place.
The largest puppet theatre of Central Europe is located on Andrássy Avenue in Budapest, hosting a 403-seat hall. They are open every day awaiting visitors with amazing shows, which can be enjoyed by everyone in the family.
