Garden Cinema at Budapest Garden

Budapest Garden’s beloved open-air cinema returns in the summer of 2025, kicking off on Friday, June 6 at 8:00 PM with the screening of Cast Away (2000). Screenings will take place every week from Thursday to Saturday, with the current movie schedule available on the Budapest Garden website.

The cinema is set up on the sandy area of Garden Beach, where visitors can enjoy the films barefoot, relaxing in deck chairs or on blankets. Admission is free and no reservations are required, so arriving early is recommended to grab a good spot.

Screenings generally begin at 8:00 PM, though exact start times may vary depending on sunset. Films are shown in Hungarian with English subtitles.

The Budapest Garden area offers a variety of food and beverage stands, so guests can grab drinks and snacks during the movie. The venue is dog-friendly, but bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed.

In case of rain or stormy weather, screenings may be cancelled. It’s advisable to check the Budapest Garden Facebook page for updates.
