Bem Cinema

In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema reopened its doors to the public, in a way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films, or as the educated French say (if they know English): as a “repertory cinema”.
The best (or sometimes the worst) pop-cult films of the last decades of cinema history are shown:
-If you haven’t seen these films at the cinema, you’re too young to have done so.
-You’ve already seen them because you’re old enough (sorry, that’s the way it is), but you want to relive the experience of your youth.
-You just happened to stumble into the screening room from the pub at the Bem Cinema.
Anyway, welcome to the world of cult films – welcome to Bem Cinema!
Screenings are usually in the original language with Hungarian subtitles.
