1. Viennale 2020 the Filmfestival
All film enthusiasts are in for a treat this month. Austria´s favourite and most important film festival comes back to Vienna in a big style. This year, you can expect to see plenty of local and international movies of various different genres to be on the programme. The festival will take place at various places all around Vienna. Don´t hesitate and get yourself a ticket and experience the urban flair of this special and one-of-a-kind event.
2. Viennese Goose Pop-Up
For those who are familiar with the Napoleon Pop-up Bar, it is no surprise that they are back this autumn as well. This time, they have prepared a great selection of different menus all containing roast goose. If you like traditional Austrian cuisine and good food, we hope you enjoy it. Roast goose, dumplings, red cabbage…Take part in this cosy get-together and fill your belly with all of these tasty delicacies. For those who like sweets, famous Landtmann´s Maroniblüte will be served as a dessert.
3. Macarons Live Online Baking Class
If you enjoy eating sweets and like baking (or would you like to try baking macarons) the Macarons Live Online Baking Class is perfect for you. Everyone knows that making these little Parisian icons is a true form of art. Through this online event, you can try mastering the art of making macarons and find out how good of a baker you truly are. The workshop will be held by Charlotte who lives in Berlin and she´ll definitely make sure to give you all the best tips on how to make your own macarons from the comfort of your own home.
4. Halloween – Festival of Ghosts and Demons
This Saturday, a great event has been prepared for all children between 6 and 12 years old. Take your children to this mystical, scary but also fun book reading and let them experience the spooky, adventurous, and ghostly entertaining stories read by a storyteller Lela Frei. The event will take place on Saturday at 1 PM at VHS Wiener Urania. We guarantee, that your little ones will enjoy it.
5. Beethoven Bewegt Exhibition
Another great event will be held at the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. This time they´ll be celebrating the magnificent Ludwig van Beethoven. All sorts of readings, paintings, sculptures and performances have been prepared in order to pay homage to this genius born in Bonn. This event is suitable for everyone who likes classical music, art and interactive exhibitions where you can share your ideas with other like-minded people. And if you don´t have time this weekend, don´t worry. The Beethoven Bewegt Exhibition will be here until January.
