Medieval Advent at Neugebäude Castle

If you are looking for an Advent market away from the center of Vienna with a historic atmosphere, you should definitely visit Neugebäude Palace. This market takes place from November 27 to December 21, 2025 and offers a unique combination of medieval elements, craftsmanship and traditional Christmas products.

More than 100 stalls with handmade gifts, design objects and artisan products await visitors. The market takes place partly in the castle courtyard and partly indoors, so it can be easily visited even in bad weather. Food stalls offer hot drinks, punch and traditional food to complement the authentic festive atmosphere.

For families, there are various children’s programs – creative workshops, performances and activities under the motto “Christmas at the castle.” The market is free to enter and free of charge, so you can enjoy it without worries. The medieval market also takes place at weekends, where craftsmen present their work directly on site.
