The new AFRIKA! AFRIKA! show (based on an idea by André Heller) will premiere in October 2023 and then go on tour until spring 2024! Experience breathtaking artistry, magical moments, rousing live music, fast-paced dancing and a unique zest for life. The success story of AFRIKA! AFRIKA! began in 2005 with the acclaimed world premiere in Frankfurt am Main. Der Spiegel called the show a “paradise of joie de vivre” and the F.A.Z. advised: “A visit to AFRIKA! AFRIKA! should be prescribed by a doctor.” Since then, the show spectacle has enchanted several million people.

Spectacular, imaginative, dreamlike, intense and a little eccentric, the producers now want to continue André Heller’s legacy. AFRICA! AFRICA! 2023/24 combines the artistic present with the traditional heritage of the “continent of wonder” – from Ethiopia to the Ivory Coast, from Morocco to South Africa and its further developments in the “diaspora”.

The show is finally returning to tent palaces. In addition to new attractions with over fifty artists from various African countries and the diaspora, cinematic dream sequences will be shown on the LED wall. Acrobatics and magic are accompanied by rousing live music full of rhythm and emotion. In terms of dance, the show ranges from traditional dances from all corners of Africa to Afro-American developments and re-imports of break and street dance.
