Children´s Opera Festival

As part of the Rathausplatz Film Festival, this series of events for children offers great entertainment for all your little angels. On selected days in the summer (until 1 September), you can expect several screenings of famous opera films in a child-friendly presentation.

Since 2018, with the introduction of the Children’s Opera Festival, young visitors* are also at the centre of the Town Hall Film Festival. A selected programme of age-appropriate opera adaptations and popular children’s music productions, a daylight-suitable LED screen and excellent acoustics invite you on a musical adventure every Friday at 5pm with free admission.
