“Wien is ur oasch” goes into the 4th round. What started in 2019 as a Spotify playlist of the same name has now become a respectable platform for Viennese music outside the mainstream, which, in addition to the still popular playlists, shows presence on Facebook, Instagram and homepage. It is impossible to imagine the Viennese indie/alternative scene without the event series.
On 24 March 2023 Gutlauninger, Alpha Romeo, Werckmeister, Sinuswelle and Bertram will prove that Vienna may be ur oasch, but the Viennese music scene is also ur leiwand.
