On 17 December it is finally time for stylish shopping of the feminist kind: “Die weiberei – Markt für Design von Frauen”, a cooperation of SPÖ Frauen Wien and ega:frauen im zentrum is entering its ninth round! Over 50 designers will bring their fashion, stationery, jewellery and accessory creations to the ega. As always, of course, with a relaxed Christmas atmosphere. Punch for a good cause, English Christmas treats by Fräulein Else Vintage, sausages from the Wiener Würstlstand and a children’s craft workshop by the Vienna Children’s Friends await the visitors. Far from the hustle and bustle, the market is the perfect place for cosy, personal Advent shopping near Mariahilfer Strasse.
