UROISH with Bahareh Razekh
UROISH cannot be described in one word. It stages a soundscape that plays with and develops Iranian pop by mixing Persian lyricism and rhythm with electronic beats from the Middle East and North Africa as well as the Berlin club scene. UROISH’s first EP Goodbye party is a collaboration between Swedish/Iranian actor Bahareh Razekh and Olof Dreijer. The music has been described by Swedish Radio as Persian pop star “Googoosh and The Knife having a love child”.
Bahareh Razekh is an actor, director and singer and has participated in several productions on TV, radio and stages such as Stockholms Stadsteater and Göteborgs Stadsteater and participated in TV series such as Lea (2022) and Dejta (2020).
