Takida and Stiftelsen

In the summer of 2023, two of Sweden’s biggest and most successful bands will embark on a joint tour. On August 11, they will perform a major concert in Stockholm at the brand new outdoor stage Betongparken, located next to the Tele2 Arena.

Takida
Formed in 1999, Takida hit the big time with their debut album “Make You Breathe” (2006). The following year they had a huge hit, the now classic single “Curly Sue”. The song stayed at the top of the Tracklist for 10 weeks and on Svensktoppen for a whopping 54 weeks. With the hit “Master”, the band made it big in Germany and is also playing arenas there. In the spring of 2023, Takida went on a major arena tour through Sweden.

The foundation
When childhood friends Robert Pettersson (Takida) and Micke Eriksson launched the Foundation in 2012, no one was prepared for the reception. The single “Vart jag än går” (Wherever I go) hit the airwaves like a bomb. The song has reached 11xPlatinum, was on Svensktoppen for 40 weeks and was awarded a Grammis for “Song of the Year”. The debut album “Ljungaverk” was received with open arms and quickly went platinum.
